Accepts a lesson,
Nothing could be more satisfying.
Teacher, teacher, why the frown?
When a self-proclaimed good student
Ignores a lesson,
Nothing could be more infuriating.
Teacher, teacher, why the tears?
If a bad student fails, that is bad.
But if a good student ignores his teacher and gets a C,
Nothing could be more tragic.
